Our tools during the touch typing course
1. Online schedule
At the start of the course, fill in whether you want to complete 3, 4 or 5 daily assignments per week. Each week, we will check whether the goal has been achieved. You will be informed by email whether you are on schedule. You can also change your schedule whenever you want.
Holidays and possibly a period of illness, it can all be entered.
The online schedule calculates when you can take your exam.
Holidays
Everyone is entitled to holidays, including you! In the first 5 modules, however, you take no more than one week’s holiday. This prevents you from having to relearn the letters you have just acquired.
During the entire course, you take a maximum of 4 weeks off in between. You can set this in your online schedule.
2. Weekly progress email
If you started the course on a Wednesday, you will always be told on Wednesday how you did over the past 7 days.
There are three situations:
- All fine and according to plan
- Some practise was done, but too little
- No practise at all has been done
Please note: if the course is not used for 3 weeks in a row and no holiday or illness period has been entered, then we stop the email reminders. The guarantee of results is then also dropped, as there is no consistent practice.
3. Reports for parents
In the online environment for parents, the results per child are clearly displayed. On the basis of “Big Data”, a prediction is made of the bandwidth of what can be expected.
Therefore, regularly check the results in the reports. If the results, especially of the Reflex training, remain below par, raise the alarm! Let us know. Do this in time so that we can make adjustments.
The result guarantee is dropped in case:
- The conditions of the BIG PRINT.
- The exam is not passed while your child did achieve the minimum of 120 strokes per minute and a neatness grade of 6 in the last modules 16 to 20.
- You choose to continue practising and retake the exam free of charge.
